Making healthy and safe choices is important and SIGNS is a key tool to help people make informed decisions about where to eat, play, visit, and patronize safely. Columbus Public Health promotes healthier, safer people through education and inspection of local businesses. You can view the inspection results for roughly 8,000 businesses that we currently license in the City of Columbus and Worthington, including restaurants, markets, public pools and spas, tattoo, piercing and permanent cosmetic studios, solid waste facilities, campgrounds, and manufactured home parks.
A color-coded signage system will inform customers what stage of the inspection or enforcement process the licensed facility is currently in. The system will honor licensees that have an exemplary record for one full year with Columbus Public Health, with the Healthier, Safer People Honor Award.
