A health inspection report is a "snapshot" of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment could have more or fewer violations than noted here. Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: Hot water was not supplied to the far right handsink in the restrooms. Corrective Action: A work order was placed by the facility to get the fixture fixed; additional sinks are available in the restroom to meet handwashing needs.

Inspector Comments: Logs to record illness among children did not contain the required information. Corrective Action: Provided CDPHE illness surveillance form for facility to implement.

Inspector Comments: The disinfectant in the restroom contained a concentration less than 2400 ppm chlorine residual and was not properly labeled as a disinfectant. Corrective Action: The concentration was adjusted to be within requirements and was properly labeled. A written policy for ill staff that may require exclusion was not available. Corrective Action: Provided guidance on adding into handbook.

Inspector Comments: The refrigerator in the 2nd preschool room had an ambient temperature of 46°F. Corrective Action: The unit was adjusted to properly hold food at 41°F and below.
