Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: The caulking on the counter to the wall behind the restroom hand sink was torn. The caulking around the basin of the restroom hand sink was in poor repair.

Inspector Comments: The classroom hand sink and restroom hand sink only reached 74°F and therefore did not have hot water. Corrective Action: The hand sinks need to have hot water between 90-120°F sink. There is a maximum temperature since the children use the sinks. The restroom hand sink is a metered faucet and the recommended temperature is between 90-110°F for these types of faucets for the comfort of children since the temperature cannot be adjusted. REINSPECTION REQUIRED.
