Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: Paper towels were not available at the kitchen hand sink. Paper towels were not available at the diaper changing area hand sink located in the Three's classroom. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Paper towels were provided to all hand sinks.

Inspector Comments: A toy tambourine was stored in the basin of the diaper changing hand sink in the Two's classroom to be wash, rinsed and sanitized before returning back to the classroom. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Discussed not storing or using designated diapering/restroom hand sinks to clean toys.

Inspector Comments: A disinfectant solution located in the restroom between the Toddler A & B classrooms was unlabeled as to its contents. CORRECTIVE ACTION: The spray bottle was labeled as to its contents.

Inspector Comments: A container of laundry detergent located in the laundry room was unlabeled as to its contents. CORRECTIVE ACTION: The container was labeled as to its contents.
