A health inspection report is a "snapshot" of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment could have more or fewer violations than noted here. Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: An aerosolized air freshener was observed in the staff restroom. Floor thermometers were not present in the toddler classrooms.

Inspector Comments: In the Toddler A room, the diapering hand sink was 123°F and the kids hand sink was 60°F. Follow-up needed.

Inspector Comments: A shut off valve was located downstream of the atmospheric vacuum breaker and a backflow prevention device was not present.

Inspector Comments: Sanitizer and disinfectant solutions throughout the facility were not labeled with their intended use, e.g., sanitizer/toys & tables, disinfectant/diapering. Corrective Action: Discussed labeling requirements with the Director; bottles will be labeled.

Inspector Comments: An employee in the kitchen picked up an item from the floor and touched the garbage can and did not wash their hands before returning to food prep/service. Corrective Action: Discussed handwashing requirements with employee and Director.

: Poisonous or Toxic Materials
Inspector Comments: Chemicals were stored beside paper towels in the Preschool A room. Chemicals were stored beside bowls and utensils in the Pre-K A room. Chemicals were stored above paper towels and beside food storage bags in the janitor closet. Corrective Action: Education provided regarding chemical storage; the items will be relocated to prevent contamination.
