Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspector Comments: Soiled cloth rags that were used for wiping down table tops that were located in the restrooms in the Tiny Town and safari classrooms were not stored in a non absorbent container. Clean rags used for wiping down table tops were stored in the restroom without the use of a lidded secondary container to keep them clean from potential contamination.

Inspector Comments: The chlorine sanitizer solution in the Little Monkey classroom was below 50-200 ppm. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Facility remixed the solution to the correct concentration.

Inspector Comments: Oxivir disinfectant bottles were reused to store bleach sanitizer solution in the Tiny Town classroom and Young Explorers classroom. The Oxivir disinfectant solution was labeled as sanitizer in the Preschool 2 and Sunny Town classroom. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Sanitizer was placed in appropriate bottles and all the above spray bottles were labeled appropriately.

Inspector Comments: Several children were not supervised to ensure they properly washed their hands after they used the restroom located within pre-k classroom three. The operator discussed with the classroom instructors the importance of ensuring their students are properly washing their hands and discussed having fewer children use the restroom at one time moving forward, violation corrected

Inspector Comments: An approved employee beverage was improperly stored above exposed single-use plastic ware and other food contact surfaces located on a shelving unit next to the kitchen entry way. The employee relocated their beverage to an approved location, violation corrected.

Inspector Comments: Dust accumulation was observed in the vent hood above the oven located in the main kitchen. Several unlabeled containers of bulk spices and herbs were observed on a shelving unit located next to the kitchen entry way.

Inspector Comments: Staff located within infant room one were observed not wearing smocks when feeding infants.

Inspector Comments: An instructor was observed actively filling the children's sippy cups with water at the hand sink located within the Pre-k classroom three restroom. The inspector noted that children were actively using the restroom at the time of observation. The operator instructed the teacher to use the arts and crafts sink located within the classroom moving forward, violation corrected. A gloved instructor changed a child's diaper but failed to remove their gloves after the diaper was disposed of within the jamboree classroom. The inspector noted that all other steps of the approved diaper changing method were followed. The operator instructed the instructor to remove their gloves as they are disposing of a child's diaper, violation corrected.

Inspector Comments: A spray bottle labeled as water used to spray the children's faces when hot was filled with a chlorine sanitizing solution within toddler classroom one. The operator discarded the spray bottle, violation corrected.
