Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: Hot water, under pressure, was not available at the girl's restroom hand sink on the left side (near the library). The hot water temperature, at the hand sink, inside the girl's restroom (near the library) did not measure between 90°F to 120°F (measured 80°F). Inspector Comments: A thermometer, to measure human temperatures, was not available at the facility. Sick logs were not being maintained at the facility.

Inspector Comments: The first aid kit at the facility was not equipped with the required materials as it was missing the following items: plastic bags, disposable gloves, scissors, and a mechanism for cleaning hands in a remote location.

Inspector Comments: Per Director, the table-top and toys sanitizer at the facility was being wiped off immediately after application instead of the required two-minute contact time per manufacturer label instructions.
