Food Temperature Control: Cold hold at 41°f or less
Inspector Comments: The following food items were above 41°F at the reach-in 1 refrigerator in the front counter smoothie assembly line: milk 51°F and almond milk 52°F. Corrective action: discussed proper cold holding temperatures with the person in charge and employees removed the milk and almond milk to a nearby double door reach-in refrigerator until the door gasket is fixed in reach-in 1 refrigerator.

Inspector Comments: No paper towels were provided at the ware washing area hand sink. Corrective action: discussed importance of drying devices at the hand sink at all times for proper hand washing procedures with the person in charge.

Inspector Comments: An employee was observed washing their hands, multiple times, for less than the required twenty-second time requirement (ten seconds on three separate occasions). An employee was observed handling money at the register and then proceeding to prepare a smoothie by scooping ice and fruit without first washing their hands.

Inspector Comments: A chemical spray bottle containing all purpose cleaner and destainer was stored directly next to single service lids on the front service area shelf beneath the blenders. Several chemicals, on the back area chemical storage rack, were stored directly above food service gloves.

Inspector Comments: Several smoothie toppings such as chia seeds, whey powder, pumpkin seeds were stored uncovered next to the front service area hand sink and were exposed to splash.
