A health inspection report is a "snapshot" of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment could have more or fewer violations than noted here. Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: 5-205.11 Using a Handwashing Sink-Operation and Maintenance (Pf) The hand washing sink at the bar was not accessible upon inspection. Corrective action: The person in charge moved the buckets stored in the hand washing sink to make it accessible. 6-301.11 Handwashing Cleanser, Availability (Pf) Soap was not provided at the hand washing sink at the bar. Corrective action: The person in charge provided soap. 6-301.12 Hand Drying Provision (Pf) Paper towels were not provided at the hand washing sink at the bar. Corrective action: The person in charge provided paper towels.

Inspector Comments: 4-601.11(A) Equipment, Food-Contact Surfaces, Nonfood-Contact Surfaces, and Utensils (Pf) The interior of the ice machine was soiled with mold. Corrective action: Discussed cleaning frequency of food contact surfaces with the person in charge.

Inspector Comments: 7-102.11 Common Name-Working Containers (Pf) A chemical spray bottle hanging above the hand washing sink in the kitchen was not labeled as to its contents. A chemical spray bottle at the bar was not labeled as to its contents. Corrective action: The person in charge labeled both chemical spray bottles immediately. 7-201.11 Separation-Storage (P) A chemical spray bottle was improperly stored hanging above the hand washing sink in the kitchen. Corrective action: The person in charge moved the chemical spray bottle for proper storage to prevent contamination immediately.

Corrective action: Educated the person in charge about all possible devices to measure dish machine temperature to ensure it is sanitizing properly.
