Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: 2-102.12(A) Certified Food Protection Manager (C) The facility did not have a Certified Food Protection Manager. Corrective action: Provided handout on obtaining a Certified Food Protection Manager Certificate to the person in charge.

Inspector Comments: 5-202.12 Handwashing Sinks, Installation (Pf) Hot water of at least 100°F was not immediately accessible at the hand washing sink by the entrance of the kitchen. Corrective action: The person in charge serviced the hand washing sink and provided hot water that measured at least 100°F. 6-301.14 Handwashing Signage (C) Signs stating that employees must wash hands were not provided at the hand washing sinks on the cook line and by the ware washing area. Corrective action: Provided hand washing signage to the person in charge.

Inspector Comments: 4-601.11(A) Equipment, Food-Contact Surfaces, Nonfood-Contact Surfaces, and Utensils (Pf) The food contact surface of the soda gun at the bar was soiled. Corrective action: Cleaning frequencies of food contact surfaces was discussed with the person in charge.

Inspector Comments: 4-903.11(A) Equipment, Utensils, Linens and Single-Service and Single-Use Articles Storing (C) Tongs were stored unprotected from contamination on the handle of the oven on the cook line.

Inspector Comments: 4-501.11 Good Repair and Proper Adjustment-Equipment (C) Ice accumulation was present in the walk in freezer. 4-402.11 Fixed Equipment, Spacing or Sealing-Installation (C) The caulking on the vent hood on the cook line was peeling.

Inspector Comments: 5-202.14 Backflow Prevention Device, Design Standard (P) A sprayer was present downstream from the Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker on the mop sink. Corrective action: The person in charge remover the sprayer immediately. 5-205.15 System Maintained in Good Repair (C) The faucet on the hand washing sink on the cook line was leaking upon inspection. The faucet on the hand washing sink at the entrance of the cook line was leaking upon inspection.

The ceiling vents in the restrooms were soiled with dust. 6-501.11 Repairing-Premises, Structures, Attachments, and Fixtures-Methods (C) Numerous floor tiles throughout the kitchen were cracked.
