A health inspection report is a "snapshot" of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment could have more or fewer violations than noted here. Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: Air fresheners, stored inside the laundry area chemical storage cabinet, were being used at the facility to control odors. A thermometer, to measure the floor temperature, was not present in the toddler room. The toddler room floor temperature measured 61°F.

Inspector Comments: The water fountain water stream, located adjacent to the kitchen on the right side, was observed contacting the orifice guard and splashing water onto the floor.

Inspector Comments: The child sick log at the facility only contained the following information: date, child's name, and the reason child was sent home.

Inspector Comments: Observed several children arriving at the facility and immediately proceeding to play with clean toys without first washing their hands at a designated hand sink.

Inspector Comments: A bottle of sanitizer solution, utilized for toys and tabletops inside the chemical storage cabinet in the laundry area, measured 10 ppm chlorine residual.

Inspector Comments: A child's hands were not washed after diapering in the toddler room. An employee in the toddler room was observed washing their hands for less than the required 20 seconds (scrubbing hands with soap outside of the water for 20 seconds followed by rinsing) after diapering a child (five second hand wash).

Inspector Comments: Several chemicals were stored above containers of crackers, located on top of the dryer, in the laundry room area.
