Health Inspection Information

The inspection history for the business you selected is displayed below. Each inspection may have zero or more violations. A health inspection report is a "snapshot" of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment could have more or fewer violations than noted here. Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Please Note: Tri-County converted to a new database in July 2013. Any inspections listed prior to July 2013 only display the date and type of inspection, but not the inspector comments because of the database conversion. For inspection reports prior to July 2013 please submit a written request to EHInspections@tchd.org.

07/01/2019 Inspection, Routine
08a - Non-Critical
Water Quality; Other: Water Quality; Other
Inspector Comments: The calcium hardness was 100ppm in the upper and lower splash pads. The temperature was 70 degrees in the upper and lower splash pads.
08/07/2018 Inspection, Pools Chemical only
01a - Critical
Water Quality: Chemical Quality; Disinfection and pH
Inspector Comments: The lower splash pad ph was greater than 8.0.
08a - Non-Critical
Water Quality; Other: Water Quality; Other
Inspector Comments: The lower splash pad chlorine was 13ppm. The lower splash pad temperature was 69°F and the upper splash pad was 71°F.
08/07/2018 Inspection, Follow-Up
07/26/2018 Inspection, Routine
01a - Critical
Water Quality: Chemical Quality; Disinfection and pH
Inspector Comments: The pH of the upper splash pad tested to be under 7.0 during the routine inspection. TCHD asked for the upper splash pad to be closed until the pH tested to be a minimum of 7.2. During the inspection the upper splash pad was re-tested to read 7.6 ppm. TCHD authorizes the re-opening of the upper splash pad during the routine inspection.
08a - Non-Critical
Water Quality; Other: Water Quality; Other
Inspector Comments: The calcium hardness of the splash pad tested to be 125ppm during the routine inspection which is under the minimum required of 150ppm. The temperature of the upper and lower splash pads tested to be under 77 degrees F. The upper splash pad tested to be 70 degrees F and the lower splash pad tested to be 63 degrees F. The saturation index of the upper splash pad tested to be -1.0 during the routine inspection; above the maximum of -0.5.
10a - Non-Critical
Chemicals: Storage and Handling of Chemicals
Inspector Comments: Muriatic Acid was stored with insecticides in the mechanical room. This was corrected during the inspection.
11a - Non-Critical
Mechanical Room: Recirculation System, Piping, and Maindrains
Inspector Comments: The raw water line of the upper splash pad was not color coded yellow. An emergency shut down control for the upper and lower splash pads were not provided. The chemical feeder was functioning but was leaking water.
14c - Non-Critical
Records and Certifications: Chemical Records Maintained
Inspector Comments: The free chlorine residual and the pH of the lower splash pad were not recorded three times daily.
08/01/2017 Inspection, Pools Chemical only
08a - Non-Critical
Water Quality; Other: Water Quality; Other
Inspector Comments: The upper and lower level splash pads were less than 77°F. The upper and lower splash pads saturation index levels were not between the required levels of -0.5 and +0.5.
06/29/2017 Inspection, Routine
08a - Non-Critical
Water Quality; Other: Water Quality; Other
Inspector Comments: The upper splash pad was 63°F and the lower splash pad was 68°F. The required temperature should be minimum of 77°F.
11a - Non-Critical
Mechanical Room: Recirculation System, Piping, and Maindrains
Inspector Comments: A schematic drawing was not posted in the upper pump room.
08/18/2016 Inspection, Pools Chemical only
08a - Non-Critical
Water Quality; Other: Water Quality; Other
Inspector Comments: The water temperature of both splash pads were below the required 77 degrees fahrenheit.
06/28/2016 Inspection, Routine
14b - Non-Critical
Records and Certifications: Turnover Requirements
Inspector Comments: The turnover rate was more than the required 6 hours.
08/14/2015 Inspection, Pools Chemical only
475 - Minor
Pool chemical parameters must be within required range
Inspector Comments: The saturation index of the lower splash pad was not between -0.5 to 0.5.
06/18/2015 Inspection, Routine
316 - Minor
Color coded pipes & arrows; guages & flow meter installed; schematic diagram posted, instructions
Inspector Comments: The flow meters in both pump rooms were not operational.
318 - Minor
Floor dry; no unnecessarry equipment, chemicals; no unauthorized persons
Inspector Comments: The floor in the lower pump room was soiled with water.
49 - Minor
CPO or equivalent; water quality records available; tested at proper frequency; turnover
Inspector Comments: The turn over rate for both splash pads could not be calculated because the flow meters were not operational.
