A health inspection report is a "snapshot" of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment could have more or fewer violations than noted here. Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: The pH of the lower splash pad was above 8.0 during the routine chemical inspection. TCHD has issued a closure for the lower splash pad until pH is within regulations and a follow up inspection by TCHD has occurred.

Inspector Comments: The pH of the upper splash pad tested to be under 7.0 during the routine inspection. TCHD asked for the upper splash pad to be closed until the pH tested to be a minimum of 7.2. During the inspection the upper splash pad was re-tested to read 7.6 ppm. TCHD authorizes the re-opening of the upper splash pad during the routine inspection.

Inspector Comments: The calcium hardness of the splash pad tested to be 125ppm during the routine inspection which is under the minimum required of 150ppm. The temperature of the upper and lower splash pads tested to be under 77 degrees F. The upper splash pad tested to be 70 degrees F and the lower splash pad tested to be 63 degrees F. The saturation index of the upper splash pad tested to be -1.0 during the routine inspection; above the maximum of -0.5.
