Inspector Comments: The toys and tabletops sanitizer located in spray bottles throughout the classrooms and in the kitchen measured greater than 200 ppm chlorine residual. The sanitizer used in the mouthed toy bucket in the Infant C classroom measured greater than 400 ppm quaternary ammonia residual. Corrective Action: Staff added water to each of the sanitizer containers to dilute to the correct concentration and education was provided regarding mixing instructions.
Per staff, the hard toys were not being washed, rinsed, and sanitized daily and soft toys were not being laundered weekly in the Beginners A classroom. Corrective action: Education was provided on implementing a wash, rinse, and sanitize procedure for hard toys and correct sanitizing time frames for hard and soft toys.

Corrective Actions: Staff calibrated the thermometer in ice water. All chemicals were labeled and placed in approved locations away from clean utensils. Education was provided regarding proper hand washing procedures.

Chemical spray bottles were stored hanging from wire racks above the food preparation areas/clean dishes area in the Infant A, Infant B, and Infant C classrooms. Corrective Action: Staff labeled the soapy water spray bottle and moved the chemicals and medication to approved locations to prevent possible contamination.
