A health inspection report is a "snapshot" of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment could have more or fewer violations than noted here. Inspections are based on regulations to eliminate risk factors for illness or injury. Every violation is coded indicating the degree of risk in causing an illness or injury.

  • Critical, Major, or Foodborne Illness Risk Factor Violations: These violations are more likely than other violations to contribute to illness or injury. Inspectors work with operators to make sure that these violations are corrected whenever feasible before they leave the establishment. A re-inspection may be scheduled to verify compliance.
  • Non-Critical, Minor or Good Retail Practice Violations: These violations are not directly related to the cause of illness or injury, but if uncorrected, could negatively affect the operation of the facility, such as maintenance and cleanliness.

Inspector Comments: The disinfectant was less than 2400 ppm chlorine residual. Corrective Action: Education provided; facility will obtain a fresh container of bleach.

Inspector Comments: An illness log was not kept up to date and on site for at least 2 months for the program. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Inspector provided the program with an illness log.

: Demonstration of Knowledge
Inspector Comments: An employee stated that the bleach solution used for toys and table tops was used for cleaning up high hazard bodily fluids. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Inspector provided education on using a disinfectant solution for cleaning up high hazard bodily fluids.

: Sanitizers
Inspector Comments: The chlorine sanitizer solution was above 50-200 ppm chlorine residual. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Inspector had the facility re-mix the sanitizer solution to the correct concentration. Test strips for the chlorine sanitizer were not available upon inspection. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Inspector provided facility with a temporary amount and had the facility order test strips.

Inspector Comments: A thermometer was not available in the refrigerator used by the program.
