Inspection Information

Inspections are based on regulations that are designed to eliminate risk factors for food borne disease. Each violation of these regulations is listed under the inspection.
Violation Types
Priority (P): The highest risk violations which are directly related to an increased risk of foodborne illness. Examples include improper handwashing, unsafe food temperatures.
Priority foundation (Pf): Violations that can create a high risk (Priority) violation. Examples include lack of soap at a handsink, no calibrated thermometer, no test strips to check sanitizer levels.
Core (C): Lower risk violations. Examples include general maintenance of facility (floors, walls, ceilings).
 
Correction Requirements: (P) and (Pf) violations must be corrected immediately when possible. Follow-up inspections occur to ensure all of these violations have been resolved if not corrected during the routine inspection. (C) violation corrections are verified at the next routine inspection.

01/09/2024 - ROUTINE INSPECTION
  4-501.11 - CORE
 Violation Comments:At the time of the inspection the seal on the bottom of the cooler door holding meats and cheeses was falling off. The cooler was still holding all contents at 41F or below. Equipment must be kept in good repair according to the manufacturer's specifications in order for the equipment to remain working properly. To correct: Attach the seal permanently to the door so that it seals properly and continues to hold the cooler at the appropriate temperature.
  3-501.18 - PRIORITY
 Violation Comments:Milk held in the front prep line cooler was found to be out of date by 5 days at the time of the inspection. Ready-to-eat, potentially hazardous foods must be discarded by the end of the day of the discard date. Discarding the foods helps ensure that items which may be contaminated with harmful bacteria are not served to the public. Corrected on site: The person in charge discarded the expired milk and checked all other items for expired expiration dates and found none.
  6-303.11 - CORE
 Violation Comments:The lighting in the warewashing area was dim and not at least 215 Lux, or 20 Foot Candles. Appropriate lighting is required to ensure the dishes are cleaned. To correct: Provide additional lighting to the warewashing area. Note: This is the fourth consecutive violation for this, and therefore the facility will receive a Civil Citation. The Citation will be sent following this report, please reach out with any questions.
06/16/2023 - ROUTINE INSPECTION
  6-303.11 - CORE
 Violation Comments:The lighting in the warewashing area was dim and not at least 215 Lux, or 20 foot candles. Appropriate lighting is required to ensure that the dishes are cleaned. To correct: Provide additional lighting to the warewashing area. Please note this is the third consecutive citation of this violation. Four consecutive citations qualifies the establishment for a civil infraction (0).
  6-501.11 - CORE
 Violation Comments:Some repairs observed, continue to fix cabinets and counters that are in poor repair at the front counter area near plumbing and storage areas. Physical facilities need to be maintained in good repair for operation. To correct: Repair cabinets in poor repair. This will be reviewed at the next routine inspection. Please note, this is the third consecutive citation of this violation. Four consecutive citations qualifies the establishment for a civil citation (0).
12/08/2022 - ROUTINE INSPECTION
  3-304.12 - CORE
 Violation Comments:The hot holding unit for the stirring wands was not turned on and the water was measured 90 F, instead of the required 135 F. In use utensils must be stored correctly to not potentially grow pathogens. In this case the unit must maintain 135 F. Corrected on site: At the time of inspection the unit was turned on to hot hold and the water was changed out.

 Violation Comments:The lighting in the warewashing area was dim and not at least 215 Lux, or 20 foot candles. Appropriate lighting is required to ensure that the dishes are cleaned. To correct: Provide additional lighting to the warewashing area. This is the 1st repeat of this violation.
  6-501.114 - CORE
 Violation Comments:There is a large amount of card board boxes, parts of a mobile espresso cart, and equipment stored in the hallway of the facility. These items are unnecessary to the current operation. The facility shall be maintained free of items unnecessary to the operation as they are additional areas where pests can hide. To correct: Remove unnecessary items within 14 days.
