Inspection Information

Inspections are based on regulations that are designed to eliminate risk factors for food borne disease. Each violation of these regulations is listed under the inspection.
Violation Types
Priority (P): The highest risk violations which are directly related to an increased risk of foodborne illness. Examples include improper handwashing, unsafe food temperatures.
Priority foundation (Pf): Violations that can create a high risk (Priority) violation. Examples include lack of soap at a handsink, no calibrated thermometer, no test strips to check sanitizer levels.
Core (C): Lower risk violations. Examples include general maintenance of facility (floors, walls, ceilings).

Correction Requirements: (P) and (Pf) violations must be corrected immediately when possible. Follow-up inspections occur to ensure all of these violations have been resolved if not corrected during the routine inspection. (C) violation corrections are verified at the next routine inspection.

01/25/2024 - ROUTINE INSPECTION
  5-205.11 - PRIORITY FOUNDATION
Violation Comments:The hand sink near the drive thru had ice and coffee dumped in it at the time of the inspection. Hand washing sinks are to be accessible, clean and used only for hand washing. Hand washing is the best way to prevent the spread of disease, thus they must be maintained clean and used for only hand washing. For immediate correction, the person in charge retrained employees to only use the rinse basin of the 3 compartment sink for dumping drinks. Extra signage at the hand washing sink indicating it is not to be used for dumping drinks is highly recommended.

06/30/2023 - ROUTINE INSPECTION
  4-602.11 - CORE
Violation Comments:The chute on the large ice bin had an accumulation of black debris on it at the time of the inspection. Food contact surfaces that contact non-potentially hazardous foods must be kept clean to avoid contamination of food. To correct: Empty and clean the ice bin.
  4-501.11 - CORE
Violation Comments:The gaskets on the left side door and middle door of the large upright cooler near the 3 compartment sink are torn and coming away from the door itself. All gaskets must be maintained in good repair to ensure the cooler functions as necessary. To correct: Replace the gasket with one that is in good repair. Please note: This violation was cited at the last inspection, and the gasket was repaired. This violation is referring to the other 2 doors of the cooler.
12/12/2022 - ROUTINE INSPECTION
  4-501.11 - CORE
Violation Comments:The gasket on the right side of the 3 door cooler is significantly torn. All gaskets must be maintained in good repair to ensure the cooler functions as intended. To Correct: Replace the gasket with one that is in good repair.
09/08/2022 - PROOF OF CORRECTION
06/02/2022 - ROUTINE INSPECTION
  5-205.11 - PRIORITY FOUNDATION
Violation Comments:There was evidence of ice and coffee residue in the hand sink near the drive thru window upon arrival to the inspection. The person in charge indicated these items had been dumped in the hand sink and occasionally it is used as a dump sink. Hand sinks may only be used for handwashing to prevent contamination of clean hands. Corrected on site: The person in charge cleaned the sink and indicated they will be retraining staff on this item.
  2-301.14 - PRIORITY
Violation Comments:The employee working the drive thru and front counter took several orders, handled cash, and then put on gloves to prepare food without washing their hands. This was observed twice upon arrival to the inspection. Employees must wash hands at the correct time during food preparation to prevent the spread of pathogens that can lead to foodborne illness. Corrected on site: Once educated, the person in charge washed their hands and put on gloves before preparing food. Ensure all employees are aware of this handwashing requirement. Handwashing is the number one way to prevent the spread of viruses/diseases.
  6-501.16 - CORE
Violation Comments:Several mops were sitting wet in the mop sink at the time of the inspection. Mops must be hung in a position that allows for air drying. To correct: Hang mops to properly air dry.
  3-304.12 - CORE
Violation Comments:The ice scoop storage holder had a wet rag stored in the bottom of it at the time of the inspection. The rag was completely saturated with water. In use utensils must be stored in a clean and protected location to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. To correct: Remove the rag from the scoop storage container. It was recommended to the person in charge to put a drip bucket under the scoop holder if drips are the issue.
