37.111.121(1) Laundry is not mechanically washed until clean or hot air tumble dried to at least 130 degrees F for at least 10mins. Two non-commercial dryers were in use upon arrival. Both dryers had just been started and were loaded with items. Neither dryer, after 15 minutes of running, achieved a temperature of 130 degrees F. Dryers must reach a sustained temperature of 130 degrees F in order to destroy bed bugs. Set the dryer at the highest possible temperature setting and reduce the amount of laundered items in the machine while running.
HANDWASHING SINK ACCESSIBLE AS NEEDED. SUPPLIED WITH HAND SOAP, PAPER TOWELS, TRASH CAN.
37.111.121 (3,4) A handwashing sink is not accessible as needed. The handwashing sink is not supplied with soap, paper towels, or a trash can. Upon arrival, the handwashing sink in the laundry room was in-use as a utility sink. A sponge mop for cleaning the laundry room floor was in a solution in the handwashing sink. To prevent cross contamination with laundered items a handwashing sink must be used for handwashing only.
