Inspection Violations

Food Facilities: Risk Factor violations are those which, if not corrected, are likely to lead to an illness. Sanitarians work with the operators to assure that red violations have been corrected before leaving the facility. These violations can also result in follow up inspections.

Good Retail Practices violations Are related to the maintenance and cleanliness of the establishment and can lead to the development of Risk Factor violations.

Pool Facilities
Critical violations are those which, if not corrected, may result in pool closure.

Other Facilities
ARM violations are violations of the Administrative Rules of Montana. These are violations for all programs other than retail or manufactured food. Sanitarians work with facilities to correct these violations as soon as possible

Facilities who fail to correct violations within time limits given may incur regulatory action, such as follow up inspections and penalties.

37.111.1203 GENERAL OPERATING REQUIREMENTS (5) Mobile home is not fully skirted and/or the access opening in the skirting is not near the water and sewer connections. Unit #4 and 5 are missing skirting around the mobile home. All mobile homes must have complete skirting around the bottom to prevent possible rodent and other wildlife harborage underneath the trailer. ACTION: Repair or replace missing/damaged skirting to enclose bottom of trailer
NOT CAUSING HEALTH/ACCIDENT/FIRE HAZARD, RODENT/INSECT HARBORAGE, AIR POLLUTION.
37.111.1220 FIRE PROTECTION AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES (1) Facilities are not kept free of litter, rubbish, and other flammable materials. Units #4 and 5 have excess solid waste outside of the trailers. Trailers must be free from solid waste to prevent rodent/insect harboring. This is a repeat violation. Action: Clean up solid waste and add skirting to trailers.

37.111.1203 GENERAL OPERATING REQUIREMENTS (4) Designated sites or mobile home spaces are not clearly marked and numbered on a sign at each site or on the mobile home. Units # 4 and #5 lack proper address identification. All units must have addresses for emergency services. Action: Add Address identifiers.

Trailers 4 and 5 have construction material outside on lawns. Trailers must be free from solid waste to prevent rodent/insect harboring. Action: Clean up solid waste.
